Introduction
We are pleased to announce the 9th Iberian Robotics Conference, to be held at the Univertat Politècnica de Catalunya and the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones CientĂficas from November 18 to 20, 2026. This conference is a premier platform for researchers and professionals to exchange ideas and advancements in various robotics-related areas.
We invite authors to submit original contributions across all robotics domains, covering:

Paper publication
Accepted papers will be published in IEEE Xplore as peer-reviewed archival publications. To ensure publication compliance, papers must adhere to IEEE PDF standards.

Please note that the review process will be single-blind: reviewers will know the identity of the authors, while reviewers’ identities will remain confidential. Submissions should therefore include the authors’ names and affiliations.
Templates
Poster preparation instructions
ROBOT2026 will include a poster session featuring short flash presentations, during which one of the authors will deliver an elevator pitch summarizing the work. Poster proposals presenting ongoing research, work in progress in robotics and related field, or ongoing project summaries are welcome. Submissions must take the form of a 1–2-page extended abstract.
Accepted posters and their corresponding abstracts will not be published in IEEE Xplore. However, presenting authors will receive a certificate of attendance and poster presentation. Posters must be printed in A0 format and may follow any layout, but they must clearly display the title, the full list of authors, and the main conclusions or findings of the work.

Make sure you use the latest templates and do not change the formatting in any way.
Paper style
Submissions must be 6 pages, A4, two-column, IEEE style. All accepted papers will be included in IEEE Xplore.
Extra pages
The length of regular papers is 6 pages. An extension of up to two extra pages is allowed at an extra charge of 100 EUR per page.
No-show policy
At least one author of each accepted paper is expected to register before the camera-ready submission and present the paper at the conference. No-shows will not be included in the final proceedings. Please also note that the conference will be held fully in person, and online presentations are not expected or supported.

Camera-ready preparation instructions
Camera-ready papers must follow the standard IEEE conference paper format: 6 pages, A4 size, two-column, IEEE style. Up to two additional pages are allowed at an extra charge of EUR 100 per page.
Authors should submit their camera-ready papers without adding any IEEE copyright clearance code or other publication markings to the PDF. The required IEEE publication markings will be added during the publication process.
PDF compliance
All camera-ready papers must be checked for IEEE Xplore compliance using IEEE PDF eXpress.

Create a new user account if you do not already have one. If your email address is already registered from a previous conference, you can use your existing account. Upload your PDF to PDF eXpress and follow the instructions provided by the system. Once your PDF has successfully passed the IEEE compliance check, upload the validated PDF to the EasyChair paper submission system as the final version.
Before submitting the final version, please make sure that the title, author names, author order, and other submission information in EasyChair are correct and match the information in the camera-ready paper.
Papers that do not satisfy the IEEE PDF compliance requirements cannot be included in the conference proceedings.
IEEE electronic copyright form
A completed IEEE Copyright Form is required for each accepted paper and is necessary for its inclusion in the conference proceedings and submission to IEEE Xplore.
ROBOT2026 uses the IEEE Electronic Copyright Form (eCF), integrated with EasyChair. The corresponding author will receive instructions on how to complete the copyright agreement electronically through EasyChair.
Please make sure that all necessary permissions and clearances for publication have been obtained before completing the copyright form. The paper cannot be included in the proceedings if the required copyright agreement has not been properly completed.
